When I Look Back...

I'm officially finished my first year as a Bachelor of Commerce student. Majoring in two subject is really tough, especially accounting and finance course is really challenging and boring in the same time. I just got my result today for my second semester, just an average result which I can't really complain about it. The only thing I hope is that I should do better next time, right from the beginning of the semester. That's the way I am, always playful and chillax at the beginning of the semester and don't really care about my tutorials and mid-term exam. In the end, I didn't get the result that I desired. Always play hard (at the begging of the semester) and study hard (when it reach final exam).

When I looked back at what I've done and what I've achieve so far, well I can't complain much. I've done about 60% of what I aim to do when I reach Australia, well I didn't expect the competition here is fierce and madness compare back in Malaysia. It also means that even though I'm just an average student here in ANU, I deserve to be here. Competition is one of the obstacles that I have to face in my daily life, it also teaches me to stay strong and be competitive in whatever I do. Bad lecturer and good lecturer, bad tutor and good tutor, easy paper and hard/shit paper all I've faced in ANU in the first year. For those people who said ANU is not a good place for commerce students to study and they said Melbourne or Sydney or UNSW is way better than here, this is what I reply 'No matter where you study and what you've study, the most important things is that whether you can apply those things in reality life when u working or doing the stuffs you like'. So basically, I want to say that studying in ANU teaches me a lot of things in life as well as brought out the other side of me (good or bad, depends on your interpretation).

The only things that I regret is I hope I can reverse what I've done to some of the situations throughout this year. I've tried to covered my weakness for the past few years but my past has come out once again, doing stuff without thinking rationally. My mom always scold me for that, guess karma punish me again this time. Well, I can't do anything now since no one create time-machine yet allowing me to change what I've had done. I just hope time will makes our memories vanishes, like a wind blowing dust away to the sky.

Anyway, that's all for today. I'm gonna concentrate enjoying my stuff for the holiday (leisuring, playing games, watching movie, hangout with friends etc) See you all next time.

Cheers.

First week (Summer Holiday)

Finally, it was summer in Canberra and everyone suppose to go picnic with such a nice weather. Well, not everyday is a sunny day. When all of my friends leaving Canberra for Malaysia, it seems that Canberra has the same feeling like me, raining for few days. Hahahaha, I can't believe I said that. It was hailing  like mad on Tuesday, ice keep on hitting the window when it was hailing, making my night so much fun because there it was my first time experience in Canberra.

Update of the week: I finally start working in one of the top retail store in Australia, Cotton On. Benefits that I'm gonna receive: 50% off for Cotton On items (anything that you buy with full price), valuable experience, learn how to communicate with people (workers and customers) and I got to learn how to dress up appropriately (well, I still don't know how :P). It seems that the manager of Cotton On is really friendly, so I don't really feel stress working for 3hour per day. One thing I don't like is I only got 2 shift for the next 2 weeks. It seems I'll only earn a small amount of money T.T Probably I'll get a second job soon......I'll see how it goes.

PS: I got a lot of stuff in mind during the exam period, about what stuff I'm going to do during summer holiday. But now, I don't know what should I do first. Should I finished up Gears of Wars 3, or so other stuff (editing video, travel around Canberra, window shopping for shoes etc). Erm......I SERIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!

To be continue...

At last, I finished my exam for the first year in Australia. Tears and happiness which hard to be explain, hard to be express... Looking back to look at what I've achieved, I'm sure no one can achieved the same thing as me. Well, I've work hard and tireless for the mid year and final, all I hope now is I achieved  the result of what I desired (Credit and Distinction). Not going to talk about it, now my job is to party and enjoy the summer before it ends. Safe flight everyone~~~ I'm so gonna miss my friends who going back to Malaysia.

PS: I'm going to update this blog frequently from next week onward since I'm gonna be free for the whole summer :D

Travelling

Today while I was studying + Facebooking, I stumble with this really good article on the net. My friends shared it in the Facebook so that their friends can read (which I read it). Here I would like to share it to all my friends who visited my blog. Following is what is written in the blog (credit to the writer Jeff):

The other night, I had a conversation with a young woman who had a number of decisions ahead of her, one of which is whether she would go to grad school or travel the world.

I told her to travel. Hands down. No excuse. Just go.

She sighed.
“Yeah, but…”

Never were more fatal words spoken.

Yeah, but… what about debt?Yeah, but… what about my job?Yeah, but… what about my boyfriend (or dog or car or whatever)?

“Yeah, but…” is pernicious. Because it makes it sound like we have the best of intentions when really we are just too scared to do what we should.

It allows us to be cowards, while sounding noble.

Most people I know who waited to travel the world never did. Conversely, plenty of people who waited for grad school or a steady job and traveled still did those things — eventually.

Be careful of the yeah-but. The yeah-but will kill your dreams.

I was so stirred by this conversation that I shared it with a group of about thirty young adults last night, many of which are asking these very questions.
The life you’ve always wanted

When you get older, life seems to just sort of happen to you. Your youth is a time of total empowerment.

You get to do what you want. As you mature and gain new responsibilities, you have to be very intentional about making sure you don’t lose sight of what’s important.

So if you still have a reasonable amount of control over your circumstances, you should do what really matters. Because life won’t always be just about you.

During early adulthood, your worldview is still being formed. It’s important to steward this time — to give yourself opportunities to grow. A good way to do that is to travel.

So, young person, travel.

Travel wide and far.

Travel boldly.

Travel with full abandon.

You will regret few risks you take, when it comes to this. I promise you.

There are three reasons to travel while you’re young:
1. Traveling teaches you to live an adventure

When you look back on your life, you will have moments of which you are proud and maybe a few you regret. It’s likely that the following won’t be on the latter list:
Bicycled across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Appeared on Italian TV.
Hiked a Mayan ruin.
Learned Spanish in three months.
Toured Europe by train.

They’re not on mine (fun fact: I’ve done all of the above)

What, then, will be?
Holding back.
Being afraid.
Making excuses.
Not taking more risks.
Waiting.

While you’re young, you should travel.

You should take the time to see the world and taste the fullness of life. It is worth whatever monetary investment or time sacrifice that is required on your part.

It’s not about being a tourist. It’s about learning the importance of experiencing true risk and adventure so that you don’t have to live in fear for the rest of your life.

2. Traveling helps you encounter compassion

In your youth, you will make choices that will define you. The disciplines you begin now will be with you for the rest of your life.

Traveling will change you like little else can. It will put you in places that will force you to care for issues that are bigger than you.

If you go to southeast Asia, you may encounter the slave trade. If eastern Europe, you may see the effects of genocide and religious persecution. If Haiti, you’ll witness the the ugly side Western paternalism.

Your heart will break.

You will begin to understand that the world is both a big and small place. You will have a newfound respect for the pain and suffering that over half of the world takes for granted on a daily basis. And you will feel more connected to your fellow human beings in a deep and lasting way.

You will learn to care.
3. Traveling allows you to get some culture

While you’re still young, you should get cultured. Get to know the world and the magnificent people that fill it.

There’s nothing quite like walking alongside the Coliseum or seeing Michelangelo’s David in person. I can describe the city of San Juan and its amazing beaches and historic sites to you, but you really have to see it for yourself to experience it. You can read all the books in the world about the Great Wall of China or The Louvre, but being there is a different story.

The world is a stunning place, full of outstanding works of art. See it.

Do this while you’re still young. Do not squander this time. You will never have it again.

You have a crucial opportunity to invest in the next season of your life now. Whatever you sow, you will eventually reap.

Please. For your sake, do this.

You won’t always be young. And life won’t always be just about you. So travel. Experience the world for all it’s worth. Become a person of culture, adventure, and compassion.
“What if I’m not young?”

Travel, anyway. It may not be easy to do, but find a way to get out of your comfort zone. It’s really never too late.

But if you haven’t gotten sucked into the routine of life yet, I implore you — travel. It will never be easier than it is right now for you to do that which really matters.

If you’re young, have you traveled yet? Have you seen what the world has to offer and how it can change you? What’s holding you back?

If you’re older, did you travel when you were young? What regrets do you have?

iPhone 4S: To buy or not to buy

To buy or not to buy, this is the most important question for today because today was the first day iPhone 4S being introduced in the public in Apple headquarter, Cupertino. It's been quite some times Apple keeping this product under their sleeves, making people wondering what features they going to introduced in this new phone. Bloggers, news writers, geeks and other speculating what type of upgrades and new features going to be introduced this time by Apple new CEO, Tim Cook. All social network sites especially Facebook was filled with updates about the excitement of new iPhone. Well, it doesn't last long.....

Several new features being upgraded internally (camera, dual core A5 chips etc), but nothing has changed on the outside. Want to know what has been upgraded??? Let's get it started!!!

First, we talk about processor and battery life. The iPhone 4S features Apple's A5 dual-core 1GHz processor along with a dual-core GPU, an upgraded version form it's predecessor A4 chip. Apple says the new chipset will make the iPhone 4S twice as fast and offer graphics performance that is seven times faster than the iPhone 4's. With the powerful processor, the company claims the smartphone will be able to provide 8 hours of talk time over 3G, 14 hours over 2G, 6 hours of browsing over 3G, 9 hours via Wi-Fi, 10 hours of video playback, and 40 hours of music playback.

Next, we talk about the new feature of voice assistant being introduced called Siri. Basically, Siri is designed to deliver information or follow commands that you give it. For example, you can check the weather, ask for a contact's address, set up a reminder, get directions, and ask for obscure trivia like the height of Mount Everest. You speak with a robotic female voice (you can't change her identity) and access the feature by holding down the Home button.

Now, come to the camera part. iPhone 4S has an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, f/2.4 aperture lens, and a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor that allows 73 percent more light than the previous sensor and should deliver better low-light performance. A hybrid IR filter is also onboard for better color accuracy. Apple also claims the new camera performs 33 percent faster than the iPhone 4's camera, and the A5 processor has a built-in image processor that adds face detection and 26 percent better auto white balance. Videos also get a boost with the ability to shoot 1080p HD video clips at 30 frames per second and with video stabilization. It means a good news for those who lazy to carry around their camera around.

We all know that when iPhone 4 first being introduced 16 months ago, they have the issue about the connectivity. Today, iPhone 4S is being upgraded to a dual-band world phone, meaning it supports both GSM and CDMA. According to the review, what's yet to be determined is whether the carriers will unlock the preloaded SIM card, so users can swap it out for a prepaid international SIM card at their destination. We also don't know if the CDMA models will offer simultaneous voice and data over the CDMA network. Meanwhile, for GSM customers, the iPhone 4S now supports HSPA+ 14.4, so the smartphone is capable of reaching theoretical download speeds of 14.4Mbps down, 5.8Mbps up. It's certainly an improvement over the current model, but disappointing that there's no compatibility with the faster HSPA+ 21Mbps networks.

Apple newest operating system will be feature in iPhone 4S. Is it a good news for the users?? It is said that it is the world's most advance mobile operating system. It brings about 200 new features to iPhone 4S. Some of the features are notification center, iMessage and Twitter integration. If you want to learn more about this thing, click here.

Lastly, I'm gonna talk about the design and price. iPhone 4S looked exactly the same as its predecessor. The only slight difference changed is the back part of the phone, where aluminium case had replaced the glass cover. The price??? Currently I'm staying in Australia, so I don't know the real price here. But in US, the iPhone 4S will be available for preorder on October 7; it goes on sale October 14 from AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in the U.S. It will come in black and white and pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB version, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB.
Comment:
To buy or not to buy??? My advice is for those who have iPhone4, don't buy because it was not a good investment. It will be better if we just wait for iPhone 5 to come out in another 2 years time. But for those who had waited for so long, and they don't even have a smartphone, GO GET IT NOW!!! And for those Apple geeks and Apple collectors, just do whatever you think is right.

PS: This is my first time writing a review on new gadget. It was all based on research and opinion.  R.I.P Steve Jobs. All right's reserved.

What goes around comes around....

Life is unfair, challenging and full of obstacles. The more you scared of karma, the more they likely to stick around you. When it hits you, it will be a painful one and your life will shatters like a glass. You think my life is fair and I looked like I'm enjoying my life??? No, you don't know the whole story yet....

However, I shall remain strong and strengthen my sanity before I do something stupid again. I try my best to cope with my life, although the world is being unfair to me....

LiFe

Life is hard and meant to teach us a lesson. Famous people such as Albert Einstein, Issac Newton, Alexander Graham Bell etc facing tonnes of difficulties before they become successful in their life. This things have been planted in my mind for so many years, telling myself if other people can be famous and successful in their life, why can't I??

But my life is getting harder and harder. Sometimes, I believe that things happen for a reason. Sometimes, I just feel like give up and feel emo all the time. I wonder did I deserve to face this kind of obstacles?? I just pray that my will become better in the future :)

New Semester, New Life

Second week for the second semester has officially ended. Why did my class finished on Thursday afternoon, but I decided to post it today?? Well, I need to think whether today will be the appropriate time for me to post something on my blog, and indeed today is the right moment for me to post something useful in my blog.

Well, I start off with what had happen these past 2 weeks. On the first week, or we call it the O-week, everyone was busy with their own thing, for example going for their lecture for the first time after a long break, looking for the course outline about what going to happens for the next 14 weeks, sign-up for their tutorial, going for various event like Bush Week and Market Day etc, crashing other people's lecture so that they can get some information whether it's the right subject to take.....etc etc. Well, it was an insane week for everyone in ANU, but all of us manage to get through it smoothly. I manage to sign-up the tutorial that I desire (which means I fit all the tutorial in my timetable perfectly), hoping that I will get a good tutor. Textbook is one of the most troublesome thing to find..... the book is expensive, secondhand book hard to find (even I found it. the price is inappropriate). Well I ended up didn't buy any textbook in my first week =.=lll

The hectic moment started on the second week. As stated in the course outline, we have to attend all tutorial even though there is no participation marks. WTHeck!!! However, consider that I seldom self-study, it's better for me to go and attend the tutorial, at least I learn something.... This is what I think before I enter my tutorial. But, it ended up half bad half not bad. Good news is BUSN1002 Accounting Process tutor is my lecturer herself, which means I lucky to get her to teach me. BUSN1101 Intro to Commercial Law is not bad either, a 40+ years old tutor with law background comes and teach us. The bad news is ECON1102 Macroeconomics is a nerdy tutor (no offence) who hoping some answer from us, and then didn't explain how to tackle each of the question as well as expecting us to know all stuff about macroeconomics. Sigh~~~

Second weeks in ANU is also consider as one of my worst week for the month I faced. I feel so down and grumpy every single day. I feel no joy doing something that I like anymore, I only smile when people expecting me to smile. I just don't feel right in everything that I've done. Maybe because I receive a lot of bad news these few days. I hope I will recover as soon as possible (depression is my worst enemy) before the second semester reach the peak. After a long thought, I think it's a good time for me to restructure my life again. I shall give some time to myself to slowly think what I want to do with my life, not what I need to do with my life. I can imagine if I didn't do it today, someday in the future I might ended up doing some bad things with my life(I think you can guess what it is).

Time to sign off now. See you in the future.

PS: I will be offline for all SNS (Social Network Sites) for 2-3 weeks. The only thing that I will on is my phone, so if you have anything you want to talk to me,just call me. BYE!!!

如果你知道我在说着你,我想告诉你‘在这段时期,我就忙我的事,你忙你的事吧’。

The day You-Know-What

Yes, it is exactly like what the title means. Today is the 9th of July, the day where there will be havoc happens around Malaysia and some of the part of other countries. Many people going to join the rally in the city, many of them claim it was a peace rally, hoping for a reform in the election and everything. Businesses around Kuala Lumpur will be disrupted for the whole day due to the rally, tourist will be hiding in the hotel room, Malaysian reporters will be running here and there searching for some extra hot news.

For those not joining the rally, my advice is not to wear any yellow T-shirt and stay at home. If anyone asking you to join them, please ignore them. If they force you, just call the police and arrest them. For those who going for the rally, I'll pray for you and hope you achieve what you want and don't cause any havoc in Malaysia anymore. I don't want to see anyone get injured in the rally.

All I hope now is there will be a better day tomorrow. There will be a change happen in the constitution. There will be a change in the government. I hope there will be a change in everything so that Malaysia can be like the one 50 years ago, where all people united under one country, no racism, no corruption and no nonsense politic. I don't mind who govern the country, as long as they bring back the country once we loved long time ago, making Malaysia prosperous once more.

So long Malaysia..... May the force be with you

Have a nice day :)

YEAH!!!! EXAM FINALLY OVER~~~~

I can't believe I come out alive from these torturous 2 weeks. 4 subject in 2 weeks is a pain in the ass, not to mention I have to cramp all the 4 subject in 1 brain within 2 weeks. These are a few quotes that pops out in facebook from a few students from Australian National University who feels the stress and pressure of the exam.

Teacher- "behind every successful man there is a women"
What we learn from this?
.
.
.
Students- we should stop wasting our time here in studies and start finding a women...!!!
LOL!!!!!

Dilemma of a student's life: "If a single teacher cant teach all the subjects then how can they expect a single student to study all the subjects." ROTFL!

EXAM PATTERN
1995-Answer all questions...
.
2000-Answer any 5 questions...
.
2010-Answer either a (or) b...
.
2015-At least read the questions...
.
2020-Thanks for coming...
.
2050-Students who are standing
outside exam center....
Have won
2 movie Tickets & many
Vouchers... =P

Love VS Exam

Love: The hardest thing cuz u have thoughts that u cant express
Exam: Still harder cuz u have no thoughts still u have to express…!!!

Define Student:
"A Student is not the one who reads book before exams.
but
writes a new book during exam"
How many of you have done this in exams?? LOL!

ATTITUDE DURING EXAMS:
They gave me the questions which i don't know,
So i wrote answers which they don't know.
Tit for Tat
this is called ATTITUDE. =P

Reason to study Economics:
You get to work with models and play around with their curves

Hahahaha, that's all for today. I'm gonna enjoy my days till July 25. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MELBOURNE TRIP!!!!!! Have a nice day~~~

Caution: Please Do Not Disturb Me

OMG, yesterday was really a bad day for me. Moody, emotional and all bad mixed feeling comes in the same time. It was like having a male PMS (no, I'm not joking, and I'm not a female) throughout the day. Even listening to my favourite songs doesn't help to calm down my feeling. Sorry to the people who feel offended by me yesterday (if there is any). So, how do I start out my bad day yesterday???

Morning: I woke up pretty early in the morning around 8am because I have class at 9am for FINM1001. I doesn't feel well that morning, feel like banging my head on the wall (not because of headache). I have to go for lecture for that day since it was the last lecture for this semester. So, I took my time to brush my teeth, bath and get ready to go out without thinking so much about my current condition.

Afternoon: Finally, finished my 3 hour lecture before continuing my next lecture BUSN1001 at 4pm. I still feel moody even though the sun was so bright, telling me that today is a good day and I need to enjoying the day before it ends. I felt so down when I walk out of lecture hall, as if my heart was being pierced by some sharp object countless of times. Haiz..... I have to do something to turn my mood around ASAP. So, I quickly went back to my room in Unilodge and do the stuff that I like to do, facebooking. Well, it doesn't help much though as my mood getting worse as the time ticking. So, I've decided not to cook for my lunch. Instead, I walked to Canberra Center to look for McD and have my lunch there. Later, I went and shop for groceries in Aldi and Superbarn. I thought the idea of walking will at least calm my feeling. It turns out no effect on me.

Evening: I have to sit in the lecture hall for 2hour, staring at my BUSN1001 lecturer who keep on talking about the assignment. When I go online and check for my assignments marks, ****, I barely pass the paper??? It further worsen my mood that day. Never in my entire life I felt so down before. Feel like shouting, screaming, then punch a guy, say sorry to that guy, punch that guy again and run, cry alone in a dark place...........

Well, luckily I manage to escape from that situation today. I'm definitely not going to experience that state again!!!

Live Below the Line.......Mission Accomplished

Well, its officially end. The live below the line had finally finished. It was one of the program that I joined to raised the awareness about the poverty and raised the money for the poor. It started on 16th May to 20th May. What all the members around the world (including me) was live the day with just $2 per day. What it means that we can only spend $2 on food per day, yeah, $2 per day. It simply means the total amount of money for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack time, all total up to $2. Well, I managed to live with $2 per day (obviously, if not I won't post this on my blog, failure of doing it means it will drop my image). See my wall post on face below.

Day 1:
Living with $2 per day is suffering, but I want to challenge myself that 'I CAN DO IT'!!!! support me by donate $2 in this website. All donations above $2 are tax deductable :)

Still feel hungry after eating 2 packs of indon mee!!!!!

Porridge for tonight....haiz 'stomach grumble~~~'

Andrew Kjy Thanks for sponsoring $10 for my page!!!!!

Day 2:
2 packets of Indon mee for today.......Fungry like hell, the only solution is to sleep to forget about the feeling of hungry....

Victor Hoo said its dangerous to eat Indon Mee...... so, I have to eat Superbarn's bread for dinner

Day 3:
Thanks to Joe Yi who donated in support of my effort to raised the fund for the poor people. Arigatogozaimasu!!!!!!!!

3rd day is not the best day I had......Craving for more food!!!!!!! $2 per day is simply not enough for me, not to mention the people who lived in poverty......

Thanks to Caitlin Delbridge who donated in support of my effort to raised the fund for the poor people......looked like more and more people donate for me!!!!! Makes me feel even more confident that I can do it, live for $2 per day till Friday!!!! If the total of $200 being raised before Friday, I'm going to continue live for $2 per day for another week!!!

Day 4:
Well, it was day 4!!!! One more day to go.......

Well, I'm going to have Meegetti for tonight (Indon Mee + Leftover spaghetti)

Day 5:
Well, today is the last day for people to sponsor me.......enjoying my plain mee with some vege ^^

Living $2 a day is torturing, I dont how the poor people can survive in this situation......I have to cook in bulk to save the money, and I have to drink water instead of Milo in the morning, how pathetic XD

I just realize I finished my chocolate hazelnut spread......now I have to eat plain bread, sigh*

$1,153,717 raised so far till today......and I hope more will donate in the future. Help me by donating in my page in support of my effort to live with just $2 a day here at http://www.livebelowtheline.org.au/personalPage.aspx?langPref=en-CA&registrationID=302010

Well, that were all the post that I updated on the 5 days of torturing, hungry and amazing journey. Till today, there are people still donate to the poor, and I hope you all will do the same thing as well. Good job everyone!!!!

PS: The Live Below the line managed to raised $1,230,856.

Sydney, My third home......

4 days trip to Sydney seems to be so short for me and my friends. We just can't cover all the route in Sydney with just 4 days. However, we manage to go few hot-spots around Sydney. It all started like this......

19th April- We have to woke early in the morning around 5.30 to prepare to board our bus in Jolimont. Out bus start to leave Canberra to Sydney about 7am. It was very cold that day, and we can even breath out mist while we were walking towards the station, which was about 5-10min walk. We were early that morning (Me, Yuga, Renu, Pam, Yen Wei and Albert) and we manage to board the bus around 6.45am. It seems like we were not the only one who board the early bus. We have to sit separately since most of the sits are occupied with people who came early (first come first serve). It takes about 3hour and 10 minutes to reach Sydney, and most of us slept in the bus due to morning sickness (none of us ever woke up that early since reaching
Australia). Basically, there are less cars in the Highways connecting Canberra and Sydney. The scenery was.....erm, I can't really explain it because there are nothing excepts tree (not like
Malaysia's tree, which is really packed, but it was more like dessert trees).

Once the bus reached Sydney, we can see a lot of old buildings around us. They even have their own 'smart tunnel' which is really long and we can't use 3G while the bus was moving down the tunnel. Besides the road, there are a lot of people doing their morning activities (jogging, golf etc). We drop at the Central Station, which is in the middle of the city. Compare to Canberra, the temperature was warmer in Sydney and there are more people and cars around the street. Meanwhile waiting for Eunice to fetch us at the station, we go around the station to look around
for shops. There are a lot of 24hour 7-11 shops convenient store compare to Canberra which is nothing (I miss 7-11 so much). Later, we went to Marigold restaurant which serve nice
dimsim/dimsum, to have our breakfast. It was nice to meet Eunice back, my ex-classmates in Taylor's and we chat for 1 1/2hour in the restaurant. We talk a lot about our life in Canberra while she shared her story the time she arrived in Sydney.

After the breakie, wedrag our bag to Railway Square to board the bus back to Eunice place, which is near University Sydney, about 10minutes bus ride from city. After resting for 1hour and bathe, then we board the bus to city back to city without Eunice (she's having class) and
have our hair cut at the Railway Square. The saloon there charge quite cheap for hair cut, which is around $10 for guys and $15 for girls. It just took us 10min for me and Yuga to have our hair cut, and we then we went to Market City for shopping. The shops in Market City have quite a few stores which is the same with Canberra such as Cotton On, Jay Jay etc. But, some below the shopping malls have these 'night market kind of shops' selling all those cheap stuff. They even
sell those nice looking Iphone cover for $10 for one and $15 for two. Albert was so desperate to get one shades there, so he scout for Ray Bans Shades which cost him $170.

We shops until 5pm, then all of us went back to Eunice place to rest again before going out for dinner with Eunice and Xandra. After Xandra come and meet us, we prepared to go out again for dinner. All of us board the same bus to city and walk towards Chatthai, the first dinner we had in Sydney. Many people was queuing up for seats there before we even arrived. I can see that the restaurant was quite famous because from what I heard, many famous artist came to this restaurant before to have their dinner. It took us about half an hour to get a seat for 8 of us. To
cut it short, they serve an awesome Thai foods, we had TomYam, Green Curry Chicken, Grilled Prawn etc. After the dinner, the we walk to Sussex Street to have our supper. Chocolate Room, while is quite isolated from the main road, was quite famous for their chocolate dessert. I ordered a plate of Waffle ice-cream with hot chocolate fudge which cost me about $8.50 only.
Worth to try.
Then, me and Albert have to wait for Nisha to fetch us at the Railway Station so that she can lead us to her place and have some rest. So, that's all what happens for the first day in Sydney.

20th June - Second day in Sydney. We have to wake up really early and we already promise to meet Yuga and Renu at EastGarden shopping mall about 11am. Before that, we (Yan Ni, Albert and me) have to walk for 20min to Elaine's place. We have to wait for Farahanim also, because she's going to lead us to some stalls to have out breakfast. Since we running late, then we have to settle with brunch instead in Ayam Goreng 99, a shops famous for fried chicken. We met Yuga and Renu around 1pm at the shops and then we board the bus to East Garden. East garden was one of the most famous, biggest shopping mall in Kesington, and the mall is almost like Westfield
Belconnen that we had in Canberra. Nothing much to tell about here because basically we shops the whole mall until 5pm. And then board the bus to University of New South Wales to have a walk. We walk around the campus and enjoy the scenery of the campus. We walk around the campus until 7pm before we left Nisha, where we met halfway in the campus, and go to the city to meet Eunice and Xandra so that she'll lead us to the Korean restaurant called Min Sok Chon. They serve really nice and spicy korean dishes.
After dinner, we walk to the nearest park to chillax. If I'm not mistaken, the place is near the Circular Quay, where the park situated near the ANZAC memorial. We did a lot of stuff (not going to write it here) and what happens there will stays there ^^.

21th June - 3rd day in Sydney. It was an adventures day for me and Albert, because we almost lost in the city because we board the wrong bus. Whatever~~~ We have to walk back to the nearest station and board the bus to the Railway Square to meet Eunice, Yuga and Renu. Pam and yen Wei already left to Fishmarket, so actually it was our fault that we late T_T After meeting with them, we walk to Fishmarket together. It was almost 20-30minutes walk from the Railway Square, and with the help of Iphone's google map, we manage to find our way to Fish Market. It situated near the harbour, where it has a really nice view. Yeah, I can smell the fish from far away, and from what I looked, all of the fish there was really fresh. And they even sell all types of fishes. Since I havn't ate my breakfast, I just going to have my seafood brunch there. Eunice recommended a few type of seafood dishes and it taste awesome. I miss seafood so much~~~~~

Then, we walk to nearest bus stop to board a bus to Sydney Harbor. Before that, we have to stop at George Street, where all the branded shops are. It was full of people that day, maybe it was because of Thursday, last day of the week since Friday is Good Friday, so all people was shopping that day. The George Street was so busy, full of people walking around with shopping bags. We have to wait at the station of free shuttle bus to Sydney Harbor. The Sydney Opera was quite near to the city though, because we were walking on the way back to the city for dinner. We took 2 hour to walk and take pictures around Sydney Opera House. It was an awesome place to take picture because wherever you stand, the photo will look nice, unless if the photo snapped was not beautiful, it might be your face problem......lame joke. From the Sydney Harbor, we walk back to the city and meet Eunice at the Market city for dinner. It was a simple dinner, because we have to rush back to bathe and change a nice shirt for the Goodboy Party. It was a party organized by the Malaysian society, and the place was quite crowded with Malaysian. I'm not going to elaborate what happening next, because the party was really boring (yeah, quite boring and I have no mood to join) Guess what??? we came back at the next morning at 6am.

22th June - It was our last day in Sydney. We came back from the party at 6am. Yeah, 6am, your eyes are not blurred. All of us are hungry like hell, so we have to stop by the McDonald to have some food. After that, we board the most earliest bus to go back to Eunice place. For me and Albert, we have to board another bus trip to Yan Ni's place because we need a rest before we come out for the next activity, the Bondi Beach. We reached at Yan Ni's place at about 7.30am, slept for 1 hour, and come out again to meet Elaine so that we (Nisha, Yan Ni, Albert, Elaine and me) can board the bus to Bondi Beach. According to Nisha, the place was quite near compare to Eunice. However, we were the last group who reach the place, because there are no bus that can take us to the place. Instead, we have to call a cab to bring 5 of us to the beach. Aish, at least we reached the Bondi beach........

Once we reached, we meet with them and have some quick lunch (sandwiches, nuggets and hotdogs) before going down the water and play. We play until 3pm and leave the place because we are going back and rest before coming out again for dinner. This time, I followed Eunice to her place and rest. For dinner, we went to Chinatown, where there are a lot of asian restaurants around to choose from. We settle up with Taiwanese restaurant, because the Mamak, opened by the Malaysian's were full of people and there are quite a long queue. We were having fun chit chatting while having our dinner. When the clock hits 9pm, we came out from the restaurant and walk to the Darling Harbor, 2nd Harbor of Sydney. The lake was quite huge, and the scenery at night was much more nicer compare to in the afternoon. We have a walk before we went back to rest.

23th June - It was the day where we have to leave Sydney. I miss Sydney so much because the city is almost like Kuala Lumpur back in Malaysia. I nearly miss the bus because we woke up late (my alarm didn't rang). Instead of taking bus, we take a cab to the Central Station. Thanks to the taxi driver, we manage to catch the bus on time. Fuhhh.......That's all about my trip to Sydney. Hopefully I have time to travel to Sydney and fully explore the place. I shall eat non-stop next time when I travel to Sydney.

Cheers to Sydney, A wonderful place........My third home
